The spoon award goes to Croatia

Goes to Croatia

If the media sources can be confirmed that Croatia has sold weapons to the Middle East, where they have been subsequently sent to the Syrian rebels.   It is also said that the US knows about these shipments and have of course just simply looked the other way.

EU Parliamentary questions

Apparently Jordan brought 230 tonnes of weaponry. It is said that Saudi Arabia has been making arrangements for the purchase of armaments, "when many Yugoslav weapons, previously unseen in the Syrian civil war, began to appear in videos posted by rebels on YouTube".  Several planes belonging to a Jordanian cargo company were spotted at Zagreb in December 2012 and January 2013.  Of course, officially all of this is being denied by the Croatian government.
"Officials familiar with the transfers said the arms were part of an undeclared surplus in Croatia remaining from the 1990s Balkan wars". NY Times,  25 feb 2013

What's even more astonishing??? Who noticed that something was amiss?  Answer: Bosnian air traffic controllers!!!  I can see déjà - vu, as Croatia is no stenger to this type of secret arms shipments.

"The reports, consistent with numerous press accounts, confirm that on April 27, 1994, President Clinton directed Ambassador Galbraith to inform the government of Croatia that he had "no instructions" regarding Croatia's decision whether or not to permit weapons, primarily from Iran, to be transshipped to Bosnia through Croatia. (The purpose was to facilitate the acquisition of arms by the Muslim-led government in Sarajevo despite the arms embargo imposed on Yugoslavia by the U.N. Security Council.)" http://globalresearch.ca/articles/DCH109A.html

That's not all,the spoon award goes to Croatia for its amnesia, but showing a lack of comprehensive on Islam and the potential for it to be repressive:
Even in European Bosnia, Christians are leaving en mass “amid mounting discrimination and Islamization.” Only 440,000 Catholics remain in the Balkan nation, half the prewar figure. Problems cited are typical: “while dozens of mosques were built in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, no building permissions were given for Christian churches.”
Croatia is a predominantly catholic country and the Catholics in Bosnia tend to see themselves as Croats. The catholic presence in Bosnia is getting weaker. At the same time, Croatia and the EU is knowingly creating more death and misery in Syria, by arming groups of rebels and jihadis who are terrorizing the Christian community there and also destroying it.
